A Most Magical Mother’s Day

For Mother’s Day weekend this year, we drove across state lines to visit Little M’s mama. We’ve really formed a very special relationship over these past 14 months, and I’ll forever be grateful for her for bringing amazing M into the world, and for the universe working its magic so we ALL unite, somehow, someway.

She sent the sweetest text the following day that just made my heart overflow:

Kids, when you have the opportunity to do good, do it. When you have the chance to extend a kindness, however small, extend it. When faced with the choice between showing compassion and showing anything else, choose compassion. Always. You will never regret taking the road leading towards love.

Ever so grateful these little humans chose me to be their mama (and foster mama:-) And ever so grateful for Little M’s beautiful mama for being in our lives.
