A Visit To The Tippy Top Of NYC!

If there’s one thing that’s been missing this past (almost!) year, it’s been a regular rotation of NYC adventures—those special moments that happen in the city that are the reason most of us move here (but especially stay here) in the first place.

Today—in pursuit of putting this dry spell of NYC adventuring to bed—Augusten, Nana, and I set off on a quest to the Edge at Hudson Yards—the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere (which begs the question—what’s the highest in the Eastern?! Not easily located via Google, that’s for sure.) But I digress.

Covid has at least taken the long lines and unnecessary wait times out of NYC attractions by requiring timed ticket slots and advanced reservations for just about everything, so getting into the attraction was an absolute breeze. Enjoyable, in fact! (See, we take doses of optimism wherever we can find them!;-) And the views speak for themselves, even on a cold, cloudy winter day.

To the city that will never lose its edge. We sure do love you, New York!
