Apple And Pumpkin Picking, 2020!

One of my very favorite traditions we’ve maintained every single autumn since Augusten was born is apple and pumpkin picking. It’s sweater weather perfection, a day spent in nature, and the perfect excuse to enjoy apple cider donuts from the farm store.
This year’s apple picking trip was our first true “travel” adventure out of NYC as a family of 5, which made it extra memorable. We tried a new spot this year, Battleview Orchards in New Jersey. Such a sweet little spot!
My favorite quote of the day by Augusten? “It smells like kombucha here!” That’s 100% my son☺️
