May's Love List

Loving: Jude's words! So many words! A few favorites are: "Yes, Mama", "I wuv you", "It's MY shoes! It's MY jacket! It's MY bow!" ...to which Augusten so sweetly replies, "It's mine and yours, Bug." Also, Augusten is obsessed with buses. The M1 is reportedly his fave.

Dating: We saw Tina Turner on Broadway but found the first act so depressing that we gave ourselves permission to leave at intermission! Ha. Also Napa Valley night at Daniel!

Watching: Adi and I are looking forward to Sunday nights when The First Lady comes out on Showtime...love them all, but probably Mrs. Roosevelt the best. We also just guiltily binged the latest season of Selling Sunset--more addictive than Dominos Pizza;-)

Making: Adi's mushroom leek pasta with tarragon is HEAVY on the dinner rotation!

Ordering: Summer is here and that means bloomers! Also been mixing my own tea with DIY tea bags. Also: flamingo bathing suits!!!

Reading: Augusten has been reading the Biscuit books, and doing a stellar job of figuring out the words on his own! He's also been reading the Little Bear books. The girls love both Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Goodnight Moon every night before bed. I'm working my way through Ayurveda Lifestyle Wisdom--taking my time with it, but so full of inspiration.

Wearing: The girls are rocking their pink jelly sandals, and I've thrown a blue fedora felt hat into the mix for a pop of late spring fun!

Looking Forward To: Augusten's bridge ceremony at the end of the year! Days without layers!
