Things My Kids Say

“Mama, I like it when you use your happy voice, not your grumpy voice. Like when you say (makes voice really stern) ‘go brush your teeth’, it’s not as pretty as when you say (in a sing songy voice) ‘please go brush your teeth, my pickle!’”

This observation made by Augusten made such a difference in my day. Of COURSE life is better when you make it a little lovelier. Happy trumps grumpy, every single time.
