We were listening to Beyoncé today and Augusten asks, “Mama, what does slay mean?” I explained how it means to work really, really hard.

A few moments later, Augusten busts out into the following song:

”Mama slays!

Augusten plays!

And Babo lays all day!”

Oh, my observant little five year old!😅
